On my way back to the new Microsoft Store that opened in Oakbrook, IL today.  Was there for Grand Opening which I was told was 9AM when it was really 10AM.   So didnt see it yet.  Yet they had a line of about 500 people of course part of this was simply because it was the Grand Opening.  They have what looks like two pretty permanent Kinect stations outside of the store and plenty of people in line to try.  Many of the people were inline to purchase. They figured the store would have a lot because it was the Grand Opening and not many people knew the store was there.

My sister in Little Rock AR got in to Target this AM and got the last Kinect add-on.  All they have left are Kinects bundles with consoles.

I would also check twitter for #Kinect.  Saw this tweet just now.

Got distracted going to the breakroom..everyone was trying out the new for XBOX360.Can we put this in the breakroom permanently?



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

boost of reach. meaning its boost on the hardware. that doesnt have anything to do with reach sales week one.

Sadly I don't know yet as I'm still working.  I will ask the Gamestop guys when I pick mine up later tonight (after work, boy's karate, dinner...).

Are there currently any commercials or media coverage on Kinect in the UK? Haven't seen any yet here, then again; I haven't seen a Nintendo, Sony or MS commercial since Red Dead Redemption released.

Just got mine! (actually my GF who is a manager at GameStop bought it for my birthday which was yesterday)

I asked her if they had any stock and she said only pre-orders were still available.  While I was in I heard the phone ring about 5 or 6 times and every time it was also Kinect.

She also told me that after the Kinect Sensor pre-orders were closed a lot of people would pre-order the 360S Kinect bundle instead!
