No, the gap should shrink a little this week because in Others Wii and 360 gained but Japan will even it out...and in America Wii and 360 should both be higher than PS3. This should happen but might not because people may wait for the Kinect bundle and Red Wii in America.

So, it depends on America, which is in line with what I said.

Lol..yeah it depends on America so your right but I still expect the gap to be smaller than last week even if its only a tiny bit.

You seem really hellbent on reminding everyone that PS3's numbers bug you.

Ha! PS3 numbers actually don't bother me at all and the Wii could be in last place this Gen and PS3 could be #1 for all I care! I would rather have Wii #1, PS3 #2, and 360 #3 but I don't have a heart attack if it doesn't go like that. It may not sound like it but as I have said before I actually like the PS3 and have nothing against it and as I have also said before I expect it to do very well in 2011...I just don't see how people see PS3 to stay #1 when they have absolutely no exclusives! They have G.T.5 and then what? Do people seriously think that PS3 can stay #1 off of G.T.5 alone? I am happy for PS3 fans but I just don't want them to be disappointed when PS3 is #3 starting the week ending the 13th.

That's a narrow way of looking at it (which also explains why you seem bugged by the numbers). It now offers a new way for it's fan base to play games, no to mention it already has a strong library of exclusives, high quality multiplatform titles, a free online, Blu-ray, Netflix, and so on.

There's plenty of reasons to pick up any console this holiday, really. The PS3 just has this market gripped, because it sells to more markets than both the Wii and 360. Who knows, the Red Wii and Kinect could have a major impact here. But if they don't top the PS3 in EMEAA during the holidays, it won't be shocking.

I know the PS3 is doing very well in Others and should continue to do well there but just not good enough to outsell Wii or 360 worldwide though. Maybe it bothers you because you know it won't last...anyway sorry if I sounded like I was hating on the PS3 but I just don't see it doing all that well Holiday 2010...like I said last week PS3 released all its got while the Wii and 360 still has a lot coming up and that 50K gap should go down very quickly. As I said I expect PS3 to be #3 the week ending November 13th.

300k people bought Sports Champions. 

That is prone to adjustments as well, since VGC admitted to undertracking Move slightly and I don't seem to see any adjustment in software.

Looking at sales of all Move games I don't see third party developers to jump into with games if only Sports Champions sells good and other like new Time Crisis or The Shot made from the ground for Move sell like shit.

 

I wonder if the same will happen for Kinect titles.

Yes the same will happen to Kinect titles, because its a matter of having a small userbase. Its like when a console release, software will not sell as much as when you have a 40 million userbase. Youll have to give some time before you see higher number for Move or Kinect softwares.

You seem to keep forgetting.

It doesn't just have EMEAA... It has Japan too, where it's about 18-20k units over the 360 every week, this week it will be almost 30k. And that's without the Holiday boost.
