I guess Kinect will be sold for who already had X360 and after I expect new buyers.

So I don't think the boost will be so huge in the first weeks.

That will still count as sales. I expect 360 to be about level with PS3 in EMEAA the week Kinect launches, maybe a bit over. But in America I think the boost will be pretty great FW (~65-90k boost).

For Kinect yes, for consoles no... ~65-90k boost for console would be fantastic.


stop being dilusional, i agree that ps3 could still be first in emeaa IF gt5 comes out, and it depends if it catches on to the rest of europe other then uk.

as for america have you seen the maketing. i expect the 360 to do 200k-300k the week kinect opens in the us.

dont get me wrong, i dont want kinect to become a trend because i hate motion controls, especially when they are used for casual games.

but look at the advertising. i dont care if its succesful or not, but your 1st week boost is low. especially considering the 360 is going to get an automatic boost next week because of the holiday effect.

Kinect must become a success but I don't believe that increased sales of 360 before Black Friday. The new X360 Kinect buyers should appear closer to Black Friday.

That's my opinion but I could be wrong.

Ha! PS3 numbers actually don't bother me at all and the Wii could be in last place this Gen and PS3 could be #1 for all I care! I would rather have Wii #1, PS3 #2, and 360 #3 but I don't have a heart attack if it doesn't go like that. It may not sound like it but as I have said before I actually like the PS3 and have nothing against it and as I have also said before I expect it to do very well in 2011...I just don't see how people see PS3 to stay #1 when they have absolutely no exclusives! They have G.T.5 and then what? Do people seriously think that PS3 can stay #1 off of G.T.5 alone? I am happy for PS3 fans but I just don't want them to be disappointed when PS3 is #3 starting the week ending the 13th.

Well they have exclusive DLC for Assasons Creed: Brotherhood, and throughout 2011 is when PS3 will begin the slaughter  of 360 in this order of game releases:

LBP2, KILLZONE3, SOCOM4, InFamous2, FF VS XIII, Resistance3, and Project Dark (It will be exclusive in all but America and UK).

Uh But 360 has Gears of War 3 with 10 player dedicated servers!!! ROFLMAO !!!

Nobody can deny that PS3 has 2011 in check!

Gears of War 3 , Kinect Core Games . Forza 4 , KingDoms... Ps3 will need alot of luck to beat 360 in 2011 in Americas.

PS3 will never beat the 360 in America. Overall of course because some weeks is possible.
