Move has done pretty much nothing for the PS3 in Japan. The boost this week was pretty much all from the WE2011 PS3 bundles.

Super Mario Collection is selling very well. I just to check out game stuff at the two big stores in my city yesterday and both were sold out of it.

Decent start for Fable 3, not as good as Fable 2's opening, but hopefully it has some legs.

PSP Go only sold 3k after a massive 10,000 yen price drop? Wow... (at current exchange rates that's a $123 USD price cut!)

DSi LL sales had a nice boost up to 32k from the Red Mario 25th DSi LL release. (DSi LL was at 15k in last week's MC numbers) DSi went up as well though, with no special version released. (from 14k to 23k) The next special DSi will be the Pokemon B/W ones releasing on 11/20.

Winning Eleven = PES. Not sure if the numbers above include the PS3 bundles (which probably would've been about 10k or so sold, if the the PS3 HW was roughly flat from last week)

Also the 360 version didn't chart apparently. I think the other systems PS2/PSP, etc. will have it released in a week or so.

Hello Iwata, if you send your Wii's strategy to the market and then receive the ACK packet and inside there are constantly bad Wii hardware sales...I guess it's about time to change the strategy.

Haven't you read Iwata comments on Japanise market? According to him Wii does greatly there :D

Did Japan got red wii bundle this week?

Ugh seriously Japan, Winning Eleven? Really am starting to question Japan's taste in gaming these days. I mean, PS3 with 28k?

Super Mario Collection had a strong second week, selling more than either of the Galaxy games did in their second week. I'm glad the game is doing well, but I'd rather see the Kirby and Mario Collection numbers reversed. Golden Sun did quite poorly also.

Sony had a good week with big games for both systems. Winning Eleven did a good job giving a boost to PS3 hardware. Only one Move game in the top 20 is not too enocuraging for the success of the device in Japan. The price cut gave the PSP Go a big % increase, but the numbers are still far from impressive.

For your personal knowledge, at this point its pretty much a given theres no Move software in the top 20. Even if there were 500K owners after 2 weeks, which would be awesome. It would still be software selling to a 500 K userbase agaisnt software selling to a 6 million plus userbase.

(Used the 500K example to better demonstrate you cannot evaluate the success of the device through softwares being part of the top 20)
