I also am really enjoying it. I played online and I finished 19-7 for my first game. Its been really fun.

I had a feeling it would get a good score,but, a 9. I guess IGN really liked it. I was going to get this game anyways regardless what the reviews says.

Sounds good. Might get this to play with friends local during Xmas time.

Well I must say I lean towards 1up and IGN on this one, been playing for about 4 hours now and I gotta tell ya Goldeneye is like a breath of fresh air for FPS titles, choice to stealth through levels or run n gun, many paths to take, like finding air ducts to sneak around in or run right through like you own the place, of course run n gun will end up with you dead and lacking ammo later in the stage if you don't watch it.  Oh and stages have a lot of cinematic flair as well as being very long.

Really it's a game that addresses my complaints I've had about the FPS genre the past 5 years.

Oh wait thats just the singleplayer! Theres multi too!  The maps are well made, its fun to play splitscreen, have yet to take it online because splitscreen with a couple of friends has been loads of fun.

The game looks really good, there are many MANY control options, the ambient sounds are a nice addition, and I love seeing enemies interact with one another or the stage itself.

Just so many things and its all in the details, its a shame the game will have a asinine ignorant and flat out idiotic review going against it from the biggest magazine publication cause gamers that love FPS games or Goldeneye should pick this one up without hesitation.

That's good to know! Just like the original Goldeneye, I prefer stealth FPS than run n gun. I haven't played Call of Duty too much, but it doesn't have stealth at all, am I right?

Oh, and how's the local multiplayer with the Wiimote? I haven't seen videos of that (just classic controller)

I played local with Wii mote a bit, you can have the advantage if you find your set up, if you don't you might get destroyed time and time again, I was over at my friends house to play splitscreen so he didn't even have his sensor bar properly set up.

It came down to me and him using the CC Pro, but when I got home and was able to set up the controls to my liking with my sensor bar positioned right I went into my first game online and wrecked them, most kills, over 2:1 kill/death ratio, and went from level 1 to 4 in one match which netted me quite a few things like titles, items, and extra EXP.

@c03n3nj0  i got the game day 1 and was shocked at not only the lack of lag and how fast it booted up, but there were actually people playing already!! Dont think you have a problem on that end

Terrific, I double post! Bloody browser... -.-

 And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

I want this game so bad...

But I also want Other M, NMH2, NSMBW, Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Ep.1, RB3, GHWOR, (but I can't play those two 'cuz I only have the Wii at my dorm), a Naruto game (not sure which one),  and soooo much more...

I have so little money though. I just bought a guitar a few months ago, an anniversary present for my gf, and I'm trying to save up for the 3DS because Nintendo won't release it before Christmas ;o;

Pirating on my Wii is becoming a more and more appealing option... that or getting a job while in college... but it's already hard to keep up in my classes and I hardly even play videogames anymore ;o;
