I just hope it won't work for KZ2.

After some preliminary data it has sold just 78K units on the PC ,so I think it can definitely do better on PS3 .Although releasing in limited quantities and in january in PAL regions wont help this game sales too much as a smash-hit .

From what I've heard the PC sales are not spectacular although I don't expect the PS3 sales to be that great either. Midway have done a shocking job at marketing, hyping, even letting the public know that the game exists.

So it could go either way, but I still don't think the PS3 sales will beat the PC's. In fact, I expect this game to bomb quite hard. It's received no hype outside the internet hardcore at all.

I didn't realize the console version was 20% slower. Given the nature of the game and the limits of dual analog controls I suppose that makes sense. It certainly could do better on PS3, but that said, it's unlikley this game is going to cover dev costs.

Gimp vs. Limp is what sales of PS3 vs. PC seem to be these days. Epic should have turned down the money hat and put out a X360 version at the same time as the PC version. PS3 is helping to bring down companies like Midway it's a money pit.

They went with PS3 exclusive because they have a deal with Sony - it's obvious. Like Namco with M$ in Japan. Ace Combat 6 on PS3 would outsell X360 by wide margin. Same with Eternal Sonata or Lost Planet. Don't be silly. It's business. Noone makes such stupid decision without having ass secured.

 I don't fully agree that PS3 software sales are bringing down third parties, but I do feel that this game would sell better on the the 360 just because XBL is such a beast. I guess thats probably why they made it so obvious that its a timed exclusive.

Wouldn't of helped on the 360. It would of been competiting with the same games on the PS3 + Halo and TF2.

there is a problem here UT3 to me isnt anywhere close to what TF2 is. pc gamers are very very picky about the games they buy and play. that is why games like farcry lasted only a few weeks cause the online was horrid. (i should know i have th egame and cant get rid of it.) UT2k4 from what i heard was ok. the game that midway wants to be big is the next MK but i havnt heard anything of it since MK:A came out for wii. but that could be a good thing now hope they can take what capcom is doin with SF4 and incorporate it into the next MK but have secrets that they wont reveal for a while to keep the buzz going. cause releasing all the info all at once kills that game prety quick. so if UT3 doesnt do well then it wouldnt suprise me.
