i think microsoft is going to have a big holiday season in japan if kinect takes off and for december also becuase they got the  360 internation version of final fantasy 13 being released on dec 16 and also on dec 22 virtual on force 4 exclsuive this could be a big holiday push in japan .....

First off it's not gonna be anything big compared to PS3 and Wii and comparing X360 to both Handhelds during the holidays would just be plain embarassing so it's not going to be big compared to it's competitors.

And you believe that the FF 13 International Version will move X360's in Japan when pretty much everyone who wanted FF XIII already played it on the PS3? Not gonna happen.

no but i do believe tho virtual on force 4 will move systems tho while final fantasy being a good incentive cuz it has extras stuff in it

Is there exclusive DLC or story missions? No. Is there new characters to play around with? No.

Easy Mode. English Voices with Leona Lewis' Theme Song. A Booklet with artwork and and epilogue chapter.

I fail to see how any of the above is actually worth having for the people in Japan. The only people buying the X360 verion of FF XIII in JP will be those who haven't played it on the PS3 and only own the X360, which is the very minority.

kinect isn't even in japan pre-oreders.....so does ff13 for 360.

well ff13 has sold almost 2 millions in japan on ps3 

it may perform well on xbox due to low price (2,900 yen) and right period of releasing christmas time HOLIDAYS time 

if it sells more than 300 units, it will push system about 20k so around 20-22k in that week i believe 

in general holidays for xbox in japan this year may be the best ever but that 's not guarranted 

even if it a small boost a boost is a boost to increase market overr their ..... and i think perssonally dec will be big for microsoft if gt5 doesnt come out in dec
