there has been alot going on about addiction to gaming and that made me think
What is the most addicting game?
this is an very debatable topic, when people think of addicting games they go Straight to world of War craft , sure thats addicting game just like a lot of MMORPG. But i have found and played and been addicted (not to the scale of some people) to a game that you either Hate or dislike or you are completely addicted. There is no middle ground in order to play the following game you have to be addicted to it. So what is that game? well the game is
those who have played it would know the sheer scale of addiction this game can bring on people. But for those who dont let me sum this game up
You are playing in a world as a village in a MMO situation, you are playing against thousands of players. You are to build and defend your village, and at the same time can raise and army and attack others. I like to point out you can attack anyone and anytime. To build or upgrade stuff it takes time, time i min anywhere from 1 minute to 100 hours to complete. Its a simple yet hard game to play. But once you are hooked and you are banding up together with others and expanding and attacking you are addicted and here is how it changes your life.
Since you can be attacked at any time you are afraid to leave you village, one 10 hours period away and you are gone, finished no more, so you always want to check up and make sure. doing anything cant time, and you always need to constantly build or upgrade things. On top of that in order to take other village (this is the big life changer) you need to revolve your life around this. first you send your noble (can take villages) its takes hours and you need to do it a few times in a row or it could take longer. So you will be waking up 3am to send off the attack or your plans die.
For me my addiction lasted 6 months because i wasn't that good. But people play for years and years and have tonnes of villages and attacks. They are the true addicted and its sad. To play you have to put Tribal wars in the middle of your life. thats what makes it addictive, sure WOW is addictive but you can play when ever no problems like other MMO's.
But that is my opinion on such an addictive game. Please feel free to prove me wrong with another addictive title. Remember it has to be life changing, game in the middle and you revolve around it.
