360 and Wii doing awesome like usual

PS3 numbers are ok, they need to start working on US

any body know what actually did vgc change for the 3? and why all of sudden, i was shocked the numbers got changed so fast it would of took me longer, great work on there part for gettin all that done and releasing the weeks numbers

the speed is unusual, and a little off putting..  but adjustmentsd are adjustments...  got to live with them.

I STILL dont know what the Wii adjustment was.. does anyone actually know?

it looks like al 3 have been changed to me just want some one to post what happen like number wise to not just ps3 360 wii adjusted up i want to know by how much

yeah agreed in PS3s case it could be just overshipping for the holidays b/c ive seen alot of 320gb move bundles around my area since they released maybe they over shipped this quarter to make up for low shipments next quarter meaning Oct - Dec

its hard for me to belive that vgc had PS3 that off for the last couple of months in EU

I agree and I think there needs to be a little better explanation of why the numbers are so off.  A lot of people have to insert foot into mouth over this change.

1 Billion Entertainment Hours spent on Xbox LIVE every month

We’ve just released some interesting Xbox data that I thought you might enjoy:

  • There are 42 million consoles sold in 35 countries.
  • In the last year alone there has been an 157 percent increase in the time spent watching movies and television on Xbox.
  • 42 percent of Xbox LIVE Gold members in the US are watching an average of an hour of television and movies on their Xbox, every single day or more than 30 hours of digitally distributed television and movies a month.
  • The 25 million members of Xbox LIVE around the world are each spending more than 30 hours per month on the service – that means cumulatively Xbox LIVE members are now logging more than one billion hours a month on the service
  • Access to Xbox LIVE is expanding from 26 countries to 35 this November.

And when we ship the next dashboard update in the very near future, Xbox LIVE will launch EPSN on Xbox LIVE, along with Video Kinect.

42 million?

Can someone explain what happen to the PS3

You guys need to calm down... Ps3 had a GREAT time with Fifa 11 like exclusive and Move boost... Now its 360 time to shine with Black Ops and Kinect... Lets see what happens!

Some of u look like stupid kids wanting attention...

Kinect is going to change the tide I think. I give it to sony, closing up the gap. The gap I think is going to grow again due to kinect. The new numbers show the gap at 3.9 million.

I also think kinect can open the door to japan, that is a market that needs to be tapped buy MS.

That extra 20,000 sony and wii get is small but Big in the end. 2,000 that MS gets is not helping and needs to start a new trend.

Kinect could give 360 a big boost in US, but I think outside of US the result will be patchier.  I really doubt it's going to suddenly swing a region which hated the Xbox and only grudgingly bought more of the 360 because MS managed to get some local jRPGs locked in as timed exclusives.  In Europe it'll definately give a boost, too, but it will probably be in regions already more accepting of the 360 already.

I think overall, with Move seeming to be much more popular in EMEA than initially thought, and with GT5 (probably) about to launch the gap will remain roughly the same.

I just don't see Kinect suddenly swinging things back to 360, particularly in light of the adjustments which have shown just how well PS3 has really be doing.

EDIT: just to be clear, I do think Kinect will be a success for the 360, but I think people are expecting too much of it from a global perspective.  It's got too big an entry price and has (perhaps unfairly) gained the perception outside US it really requires a big living room or clear play space and that combination I think will hold it back outside the US, at least initially.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Black Ops? lol.....I doubt it does much, if anything, for either HD console.

And calling people stupid is against site rules, just so you know.

Wow the expansion of xbox live could be hugh. Nine more countries on the list. When was this posted or reported?

So, if I got this right.. Technically, the PS3 didn't sell all these units THIS week, it's merely compensating from the apparent undertracking throughout previous weeks?

ME2 does 30k this week, nice to see it showing some leg...  Also Alan Wake is still doing 10k/week so the holidays should see it push past 1M.

what is most sad about this is that now gafers wont stop saying VGC is bs and they lost alot of credibility...

yea they do hate american products. On another note though they do love interactive games. Kinect Might be right up there on there list.

What if apple did buy sony, what would the japan out come be then? It won't happen but just a thought.
