Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Who else thinks Fable 3 is near perfect?

I played a little bit of Fable III yesterday. Seems pretty cool. I started out as a female avatar this time (usually always start my first playthrough as a dude in western rpgs). I unlocked the lover and family expansion pack in the road to rule realm thingy. So sexy time awaits. Can you bear children from men other than your husband in Fable III? (I tried in Fable II, didn't work. Maybe all those STDs rendered her sterile). That would be worth some shits and giggles.

Try having an orgy with about 5 people and see if you can

My husband Elliot (the female hero's childhood friend) gave me an STD! That motherfucker. He probably got it from that bitch Linda! How could he? I went out and committed adultery twice out revenge but sadly my avatar isn't getting knocked up outside of wedlock. So I can't have my ultimate revenge on him sadly. Maybe I'll just throw an orgy on the martial bed and then bust a cap in Elliot's ass (sadly there is no "cut off his joystick while he is sleeping" interaction in Fable III).

the only 2 things i didnt like about the game were finding someone to marry was a ppain in the butt the first 2 people i tried to marry i couldnt get them to love me a teacher and a servant. and second i thought once you became ruler they should have had a constant time frame from each time you go through your court schedule. i wasnt prepared money wise at the end of the game because i thought i had more time but sadly i didnt and my whole kingdom died.

I like the sanctuary but I wish we had menus too, I'm finding finding items difficult :/

Yeah my whole kingdom died too. I didn't think the game would end that quickly because I had like 120 days left. And then next thing I know, my time is up after I finish that day. Fuck. I'm going to do a second playthrough (this time an evil one so I can make a lot more money for the treasury and then grind for cash and buy up a lot of properties and make money off them) so that I can avoid that.

That is naturally one of my biggest beefs with this game.

My second beef with this game is that the "sex invite" expression seems like it never shows up for me (whereas in Fable II you can just buy the book that can teach you the "Come Hither" expression). I swear the "sex invite" expression only popped up once with my 1st husband Elliot. I believe it was right after the proposal. (I married 3, the second one divorced when he saw that I had another husband. lol). I haven't seen the sex invite expression pop up with anyone else. And where the hookers be at in this game? I can't find any hookers. I want to get my orgy on. In Fable II, all you needed to do was gather up a bunch of raunchy/unchaste/randy attribute villagers who loved you (very easy to get people to love you in Fable II), use "Come Hither" on all of them and then go to a bed and there's your orgy. In this game, if a villager has the "Flirty" attribute, you can get them to have pre-marital sex with you if you hold their hand and go to a bed. But unless the "sex invite" expression pops up, you can't have a bloody orgy (because you can only hold hands with one person at a time. You need "sex invite" to have multiple partners). It's irritating. It makes me want to pop in Fable II again and relive that awesomeness.

Fable III is a great game and in many ways an improvement over Fable II. But Fable to me has always been a casual RPG that is about messing around with your environment. It's like what The Sims would be if it was a M-rated Western RPG. Killing innocent people, engaging in sexual indiscretions, jacking up the rent and shop prices to piss off the villagers, etc. So it is regrettable for me that Fable III is a lot less orgy friendly than Fable II.

Anyone here who has had success setting up an orgy in Fable III, let me know. And is it possible to throw an orgy involving a spouse in this game or would the spouse be repulsed and divorce your ass for trying to set one up? lol.

Mechanial guardian birds controlled by dead children? Prince of Persia 2008 scenery?

I was playing Fable III an hour ago, what's happened! I like it!

Its a great game so far. But somethings keep it from being far from perfect. Perhaps most annoying is when the breadcrumb trail becomes glitchy on certain quests that are not of the main story. This is because often times following the trail is the only way to recover said item for said villager.

The slow down does not bother me so much nor does the glitches, like when my guy disappears while kneading dough for cash, yet the dough, rolling pin and pies continue to appear as normal as if the invisible man is hard at work.

The fighting is also sorely repetitive. I wish they would have worked in some kind of combo system.

These things drag it down some in my eyes but I am willing to forgive the developers because it is otherwise an exceptional game.

Well i haven't bought it yet but indeed every positive thing about fable 3 matches with me. Porbably going to be mine rpg of the year.
