Oh btw @ people who doubt these figures. They wouldn't be ramping up production if none were selling and now they are producing 2 times more so expect more sales as the move is in hot demand

Strong figures for a peripheral which is sold out in alot of retailers, certainly looks like Sony have struck a mini gold mine here. Must be a nice profit margin on this Move controller, it amazes me it's doing so well tbh.
Think Sony had forecasted 4 million units shipped by March 31st 2011 - based on that leaked SEGA document a year ago or something along those lines, so looks like a success so far, with no actual games worth buying too 0_o.

Then again some poeple will be like that no matter what when it comes to Sony products. THis is great but expected news imo. And btw I wonder why this thread doesn't have like 20 pages of posts like the one with Pachy giving the 'bad news' :P

not every Move sell with sports champion, can't just judge from sports champion sales. so far there is more then twenty titles you can play with the Move, i believe most comsumers buy it to play with difference game they like, that's why total up to get this sales numbers.

Patcher is clueless. This coming from an analyst who gets thing right maybe 25% of the time. So supposely 2.5 million has shipped to retailers, but how many of the bundles have sold to consumers. That's what we want to know. I've seen units at WalMart, Best Buy and Fry's Electronics over the last couple of weeks.
