Yea I remember that, but that wasn't a technical problem more a of contriversy because of the song viewed as offensive to Muslims in the Middle East.

Yea, I haven't thought of Black Ops, could even be a combination of the two; Kinect and COD.  I haven't looked, but what comes out the same week as GT5 now?

I am shocked to see how much people under-estimate GT5

If anything Kinect should be avoiding launching head on head with GT5

Never said GT5 wasn't going to perform well. I expect 10mil for the game. I'm just thinking that if I were Sony, I would want my FlagShip title to be release so that it is the center of attention.

It's not the point of choosing one over the other. It's the point that Kinect will get a lot of publicity. It's better to release something when there is not a hot item taking the spotlight.  How is he trolling? it's just asking a question that in mind is a good question. If they release without a ton of the spotlight being somewhere else then sales are more likely to be better. looking at pre-orders this might be the case.  

DId it not occur to you that a lot of ps3 owners own a xbox 360. Maybe just me but every PS3 owner I know owns a xbox 360. They don't go on these sites either and choose one or the other, they prefer one or the other but they play both. Also all of them are getting kinect but I only know of one getting GT5. So maybe a month wait will get them to pick that up as well.

It could be all of it together, lower pre-orders then expected, kinect, hacking issue. F-it lets wait a month to release. SO calm down buddy. it's not so desperate, it's just a question and your freaking out. Calm down, GT5 is untouchable and they don't need a reason to do anything. lol

Thanks for the Defense, some people get so touchy. Looking at the release dates for December, GT5 only opposition I think is Fable III.  I just think if I'm Sony, going against Kinect & COD is just crazy.  Sure GT5 is going to sell great but Black Ops will kill it in total sales across all platforms.  COD is just that big now.  Add in the Kinect launch and GT5 could easily take a back seat to the other two.  Seem to be a safer bet to release a bit later. Sony wouldn't lose anything for waiting a month but potentiality could lose if some attention at launch if diverted.

@bannedagain Really this is an attempt to troll at PS3 fanboy's, i am not a PS3 fanboy but i can see this is attempt to upset them. I you said a 3rd party racing game like Need for Speed was the reason then yea that's up for discussion.

the fact is  you are taking about something on a different console in a different genre and with a massive already existing fan base. 

this is like saying that if Mario cart DS was being released November 9 and Activison delays Black ops because of it. 

here another closer to home, its like Microsoft delays Halo Reach because of the Playstation Move. 

i am just saying this looks more like a troll attempt to make you Xbox 360 owner OP to down on GT5. I believe you would be up in arms if a PS3 owner said the Kinect is being delayed because of the ps move. 

All I know is I'm pissed at the GT5 delay. If it drops to 2011 won't buy it (at least not a new copy).
