PS3 isn't doing poorly at all.

Being down 180k on the Month where the price was cut and a new model was introduced really isn't being poor. Especially not when you're outselling the generation leader by 60k for the Month.

That system is now not at the top in any given region.

Actually, it was ~190k's vs... ~715k!

It really wasn't actually "just another month," though, Mario Kart Wii came out and a ton of Wii's were shipped in (back when Wii's were still sold out). Exaggeration on the Wii fans' part, of course, coming back to haunt us!

I did mean april 2008

and holy...it was 715K

Well there you go then, sure it had Mario Kart Wii....but 715K is just insane

That is what Wii was....

you can't expect people not to be surprised or shocked by this years turn of events.

also PS3 is still very costly compared to competitors.....sorry if I bring the "old argument back" but its a fact.

For its price I am pleased with what its doing.

370k Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (PSP) 225k

Metroid: Other M (Wii) 173k

LOL don't worry next year the same time period 360 will be down just like ps3 this year because of slim effect gone then we can label it DOING POORLY, lets see if he calls 360 doing poorly when its down yoy at that time.

my bet is he wont and will try to sugar coat it.

That's actually closer to my original prediction, but I thought I'd get smacked by Wii fans when I said that Metroid Other M is likely to be overtracked by much more than 60k, so I tuned everything down a bit.

Also The Source stated in his article that Modern Warfare 2 likely sold 250k (which I didn't believe). So my original prediction looked even more trollish.
