I am STILL confident of GT5's LONG TERMS success because it has NASCAR n stuff and the series has legs.

But the launch numbers will be disappointing for me in NA.

500k fisrt week is disappointing?

GT5 should be able to do 2 million first week sales world wide...

if it debuts at 500K in NA

and if VGC is correct it could debut at 500K in japan

and EMEAA should have a debut around 1 million

which would launch the game at 2 million copies...

Yes it will be amazing for a GT game in America i think.

Are you guys kidding?GT5 is doing extremely well.

GT5:P did 145k FW in the US,and now sits at 1,133,759,without PSN sales.

GT5 will have no problem doing twice that number,and will eventually triple it.

Yes its lower than GT4's 770K and almost (actually maybe even ALL) all franchises this gen are all beating the launch weeks of their predecessors from last gen.

I wanted it to be higher, but you can't have everything, I'll be hoping for better legs.

Luckily we have FULL data for GT4 in all regions so comparisons can be easily made.
