I'd have to agree with Hus; the graphics just have sharper textures, slightly better particle effects, and bit more of smooth finish than Halo 2. Pretty disappointing for a game that was given three years to develop.

what everyone on this page is forgetting though about those screenshots and videos, is that these aren't the final graphics and layouts.  on bungie's site, it states that in the new videos, you will see un-finished animations, scratchy gameplay, and other rough spots in the footage.  it says the graphics and gameplay will be even further refined by the release of beta to the public.  plus, this is just the beta.  they've still got 5-7 more months to smooth things out even more.  give 'em a chance guys, they'll pull through, they always have .
