I wouldn't say that Apple is a stupid name (not the best naem actually). I know a guy who's name is Pantalon (which in Romanian means "pants"). How's that for a stupid name (fortunately today I think it's illegal here to give your child such a name).

I read that Rebecca Chambers from REØ got her name from two of the main female leads in the TV show Cheers (Rebecca Howe ± Diane Chambers =  Rebecca Chambers).  Makes me curious why game creators choose the names they do as well and what their inspirations were.

There are enough cool names that are like  insider jokes have hidden meaning to a few, and otherwise good names. Seph doesn't sound bad to me. I know a guy named Solaris, (after that book). Cool name, people call him Sol.

Star Trek Deep Space nine has a Kira female character. Now If you are a boy and you watch DS9 and your name is Kira it doesn't work.
