Since Uncharted is own by Sony Computer Entertainment, that means easy transition to Sony Colombia pictures.

Anyways Uncharted would be the next Indiana Jones films for the future. And Since the game is the prefect blend of Climactic and game play with Epic Story lines they are destine for the Big Screens. 

Only problem is condensing it down into 3 hours max.

Anyways the chances of it becoming an movie is very likely on my opinion, but you wont see any of these movies pop up until Uncharted 3 hits the stores so it can be known as the Uncharted Trilogy and release 3 succession films.

and guess what the director and produces have been named for Uncharted Movie

Russell (Three Kings, The Fighter) has been set to write and direct Columbia Pictures' Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, an action-adventure based upon the bestselling PlayStation 3 game, it was announced today by Doug Belgrad and Matt Tolmach, presidents of Columbia Pictures. The film will be produced by Avi Arad (Spider-Man), Charles Roven (The Dark Knight), Ari Arad, and Alex Gartner." 

hoperly it will be good but they need a Good Nate Drake, as it will be a breaker if he is bad, and it cant be anywhere near CGI at all. Hoperly it gets a Indiana jones feel about it. 

Check out Fools Gold, that already has the Uncharted vibe so it's doable with the right choice of cast and screenwriters.

the director and produces have been named, and its Colombia pictures duh as i fought and will probably hit the theatres late next year if they start filming over the next 18 months.

If they make one, please do not base it off the games. I think that they would do a better job just making an entirely new script. Look at PoP, they ruined the sands of time great story.
