Dammit, when night falls, everything turns red and invisible and it looks like I'm playing on a Virtual Boy.  It makes it impossible to dig in the dark or even find my shelter really.  But if I do find my shelter and just wait for the sun to come up, I can see through my walls and watch the monsters looking for me.

But it cuts my gametime in half so it really sucks.  I Googled for the same mistake and it seems to be a problem on some random Macs.  I might have to wait until I get a PC to really get into this game.  Dammit.

The game is full of win, even though you can't win.

host a local server on your mac and dial into it, that will  fix the issue. my g5 seems to do that, though none of my other macs do (g4, macbook pro) so i just use the g5 now to host the server. most of the time i dont play on it, but if the other computers get tied up i play there. you can use mods on servers to switch it to day time anytime you want. though the servers have many of thier own problems... like you cant die....

It doesn't do it on your G4?  I'm on a PowerBook G4 right now.  What gives?

Is there anyone who hasn't played it?

im thinking its a graphics driver issue, does your g4 use an ati card?

note i pmed you the server ip so you dont have to set up a server to see if that makes a difference

I don't even know what kind of graphics card this thing has.  It's really old and somebody gifted it to my wife several years ago.

None of the sound works either.  Every sound effect is a harsh static sound.

But... the weird red/invisibility stuff won't be bad at all, if I can find out how to make a torch.

I tried to connect to your IP too, but that didn't work.  My internet is horrible here.  Geeze, I really don't know anything about computers.  I'm a pretty bad nerd.
