Because I don't want too much info or spoliers I'm asking here. I played Demons Souls for the first time last night and I was very impressed by the little i saw. Most of all the combat felt so raw, alive and physical and the controls were very accurate. The atmosphere surprised me too, so dark and gothic with the intro videos, art-style, cut-scenes and stuff. In a good fairytale'ish gothic, not "The Witcher gothic".

Anyway, quick questions:

Do my weapons worn out if I crash crates?

Should I crash all the crates in hope of finding goodies?

What happens if I don't reach my pool of blood before I die? Will I lose anything else than just the souls I've collected (and how many souls do I lose btw?)?

my psn is zuvuyeay by the way,i'll add you when i'm on next

i wouldn't go on the dempns souls thread as it spoils it if you ask me,but i wouldn't worry about weapon decline there are things to fix that,i don't think you get goodies from crates

it is a great game to play, glad you like it but honestly after playing for a while there is no harm in using wiki demons souls,i'm not sure how anyone could play the game without help

what i mean is play it on your own until you want  help otherwise its no fun really, knowing everything

and you only lose your souls if you don't make it

For everything Demons Souls go here: Demon's Souls English Wiki: Demon's Souls (video game)

It explain everything you need to know. How to upgrade weapons, which stats to increase etc.

This game is great. The only problem is that it doesnt explain stuff for players.

Thanks man. But I want to try out by myself mostly. Like Zuvu said above, I wanna avoid to get spoiled too much. Then later when frustration kicks in yo go to wikis.

Ah, ok. Then you will be frustrated fast.

Seriously though. The game doesnt explain things at all.

Okay, let's say I have 7 souls and then I die. Those 7 souls are now in my pool of blood, right? I wake up in the Nexus and then teleport back to the same level. Now if I die again before I reach my pool of blood, those 7 souls are lost forever right?

Yeah... if you die again the previous pool are lost. Just the last one stay active. And go back to the Nexus lost it too... you die and return to start of the world (or last portal to the Nexus).

But you lost just the souls... items, weapons, stones, etc stay with you forever (unless you use or drop them).

Demon's Souls is fantastic... I'm playing the last part of the first world (I completed all other worlds).

Quicker, easier, spoiler free :)

Do my weapons worn out if I crash crates?

Don't know :p, but don't think so. You can roll into crates to destroy them.

Should I crash all the crates in hope of finding goodies?

Nothing in crates, but goodies hidden behind some crates so stay alert.

What happens if I don't reach my pool of blood before I die? Will I lose anything else than just the souls I've collected (and how many souls do I lose btw?)?

You die you loose all souls you have unspent at the moment, you loose only souls when you die (and your life if you aren't already dead) If you die AGAIN without reaching your blood stain those souls you lost are gone forever.
