Forums - Gaming Discussion - Great Games You Never Want To Play Again

There is a small part of me in there somewhere that wants to relive the horror of playing FF7 for 250 hours again, but I keep it at bay. If it wasnt for the fact I missed those two materia, I would not even consider it.

I would play Legend of Dragoon again just because I never remember the story...but 65 hours is a bitch.

Baten Kaitos Origins....gah I could've sworn I just made a small mistake with that battle system but I can't look at it if the same thing happens twice.

FE: Path of Radiance - just to level up different people and avoid others entirely (Nephenee I'm looking at you!)

Syphon Filter 1- Gabe Logan's running animations are the best in videogame history...but the game is ancient!

Persona fuckin' 3.

It was such an incredible game, with awesome music, an epic story, and kickass gameplay.

It just took SO LOOOOOOOOONG to get one one part of the story to the next. You had to play 28 days of school before some story happens!

Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita

Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte

Sugu yoko de waratteita

Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo

I will never leave you

Only ones I can think of is God of War and Ratchet & Clank (only played the first games of both series). I want to play the sequels at some point though.

Viewtiful Joe would be one of them. Fun, intense, at times pretty challenging, but I have no desire to play it again.

ME top 5 in the greatest game this gen but I was unable to replay it

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

  • all Ninja Gaiden NES games : Too damn hard, with cheap difficulty (I'm looking at you birds and bats from hell!!)
  • Megaman x 4/5/6 : good games but I couldn't get myself to play them a second time. Got bored.
  • MGS 2 : after you see Raiden naked.... you won't touch that disk for the rest of your life
  • Power Blade NES: Awesome game with Arnold Schwarzenegger on the cover. But I wouldn't play that game ever
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES: you need an explanation?
  • Top Gear Games on SNES (1/2/3000) : great games but I felt bored on my second playthrough.
  • FFVIII : not much appeal
  • Chrono Cross: My first and only ending, was .... the NO ENDING!!!! Getting credits after beating the last boss is .... AAARRGHHHH!!
more to come

Super Smash Bros. Melee. 'Twas a great game, but after Brawl came out, there's really no reason to go play Melee any more.

lies! I've played that game 6 times, my favorite metal gear >:O, but it's okay.

And chrono cross has multiple endings. Though to be fair. I got one that sucked and never played it again, I youtubed it a few or many years later, but they have better endings. than the one that goes to credits right after boss >_>. Granted, that still fits the category of great and me never wanting to play it again.

But I'd add another one. Dragon Age. Great the first time through, but too much unfun crap the second time imo.

Killer 7, great game but very weird too play again.

Final Fantasy VII, I loved it but just too long to me, and at the end the story got a bit weird
