In xbox360 lalaland anything playstation related has to be doing bad/selling bad otherwise its overtracked LOL!.

Well yeah, if a platinum version is available,I guess it's done better than what was shipped in its first month.

That's what I'm thinking. Those sales of over 1 million back in Dec 2008, is the amount that were sold to retailers, not to real customers. They probably sold half that amount to customers around that time. I'm still sure that VGCharts totals are probably off though. Most likely they have sold close to 1.5 million by now I would think, but no more then that. I still want to get this game. Let me check Ebay real quick. lol!! Yeah.. it's selling on Ebay for about $10.

maybe a bit undertracked like 100-150k but not much more.

Obviously without bundles the first Motorstorm would have never gotten over 2m either, so yeah shipping 1m units in a month is again obviously too much for a game of this kind, but I guess you can blame the stores for that.

and yes NPD and Chart-Track are with us on this.

It just depends what you mean by sold, this site has fewer PS3s sold that Sony have sold, but Sony have sold them to different people to what VGC has said...

And yes, this was brought up several times back in the old days when there were comment sections on game pages and ignored as far as I know. Clearly, it sold enough to justify a sequel, so I would say it is undertracked

We count sold to customers, so the official numbers from MS and Sony are naturally way more inacurate, because they count shipped or sold to retail, which is the same.

I know the difference, but why don't you tell me how it's possible for Sony to overship 3 quarters in a row while having shortages? Simple it's not, VG chartz is inaccurate
