StarFox would be more likely than F-Zero because Miyamoto has stated he wants another StarFox game to happen, and F-Zero was never a big-seller to begin with.

I suppose a bigger question would be whether or not the new StarFox will end up on 3DS or the Super Wii.

Star Fox on the Wii. If Nintendo hasn't noticed that their fans want Star Fox reborn to its roots, then they have to be deaf or stupid or something. Give it a rest with Metroid already, Other M wasn't horrible, yes having Malkovich give Samus permission for using her weapons was total BS. Other M was a step forward for Nintendo in the Cinematic department though. I have a feeling that Metroid will be quiet for a while.

For me Retro should do Star Fox on the Wii, then F-Zero, and maybe Earthbound but that's extremely optimistic.

All I know is that I want another Metroid First Person.

Talking about reviving old franchises, I'd like to see Super Stunt Race FX or Wave Race for the next Nintendo console with kickass graphics and god knows what else the console will offer us.

My guess is if they ever make another WaveRace game, it will have the word "Resort" somewhere in the title.

I myself think Metroid Prime is over, the series was amazing but I don't see Retro returning to the franchise. As for Donkey Kong the style they chose is easy to develop and they could easily pump another one out in a year or two. But will they? I think DKC:R might be a one time deal just to show that DK still has an audience and fanbase.

I think next franchise will be StarFox, that or Sora will take over StarFox. A new IP is also possible but Retro's name says it all Retro likes to work on Retro franchises. I think another DKC game is possible but not likely I bet StarFox is next to get a rebirth.

yes it was, Retro are better then that. If Nintendo is to capture back some of the core audience they need a good fps, or another genre adult oriented game. Retro would have the skill set to achieve this.

Donkey Kong can be made by any one of the Nintendo Teams.

I wouldn't mind having a realistic wuhu island as the set for a new Wave Race honestly. With online play of course.
