I have just finished watching it...

It was good for it's time. I have the dvd. It was'nt so much about the story as it was about the setting and atmosphere. They really did'nt have Cgi back then and most of the effects were done on the set. I personally liked the movie, but I can understand why people don't. lol

I watched the first 30 minutes of it some 5 years ago and I was too bored to continue.

The movie is an almost perfect visual presentation of this Post-Modern times. The way you can interpret various scenes to the way we humans live our life today gives the movie depth.

I specially liked the moments of silence in the movie and the slow pacing of some scenes.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

its a sci-fi cult classic,

which version did you watch the new one/the voice over one

but honestly if you didn't like it fair enough but it is one of my favourite movies

it bombed on release with the voiceover version i think and became a video/dvd hit like alot of films do,like the thing etc

i saw the new version at the cinema a few years ago and its one of the best films i've seen on the big screen

so many great lines, visuals and story

too bad she won't live but then who does

yes i'm a nerd
