I was reading into the bukkit thing and along with the Microsoft purchase, crazy stuff is happening right now.

edit - It was from Mojang? I thought it was from a bukkit developer? I don't know the full details, but I read something about Mojang owning Bukkit, but keeping that a secret.

That's what had me confused. Last I'd checked, they DID own Bukkit, so yeah, doesn't make much sense. Strange.

That's the thing - I thought it was made very clear that Mojang bought Bukkit outright a while ago. That's why it's so confusing that so many of their codewriters are suddenly so upset.

Regardless, the biggest issue seems to be that there just aren't any posts that I can find that explain exactly wtf is going on.

Yeah that's what I was curious about, not a whole lot of information or I'm sure it has to be dug through somewhere in a massive thread or something. People upset cited that they only hired the bukkit guys, but didn't disclose that they actually owned bukkit.

Now that's what the people talking about it on the forum I was looking at the other day were saying and they claimed they had trouble finding information at that time that stated that Mojang owned bukkit when they hired the guys.

if they would just finish a plugin update for mincraft it would remove the whole issue, i want that at this point more than anything....

with our new patron microsoft it will be interesting if that ever gets done. I imagine realms will be pushed. hopefully our alpha accounts are honored.

for clarity i will keep running nibiru with current patch until such time as i can either move to another plugin system without major issue or minecraft gets a plugin update.

Gotta love when absolutely everything just goes wrong. >_> I'm adding a 3-way intersection to a station in the nether and while digging I didn't notice that the floor suddenly ceased to exist and fell into a lava lake. Lost my precious Silk touch pickaxe and Infinity bow among some other stuff.
Went back and while riding a minecart I picked up an egg. Threw it without thinking and managed to hit a pigmen that spawned in front of me. Once I was at the station I quickly secured all entrences and decided to finish the intersection while figuring out a good escape plan. And then I was hit by an io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException. Now there's a ghost of me roaming the server and I can't log back in because according to the game I'm already in...

Gotta love Minecraft sometimes.

I need to hop onto Nibiru with MrFarr and just go exploring. On waterworld, I need to finish the last pieces of my large bridge, maybe find a new destination that would be suitable to start taking the bridge to. Though in all honesty, it's probably more of a waste of resources with how wide it is, but it's still fun to see it come together.

I sold my GTX 770 and I've fallen back on an older GPU while I wait for my GTX 970 to get here. For some reason, even though I selected 3 day shipping, it defaulted back to eggsaver while I was checking out and I didn't catch it. I'm thinking it would have been delivered today if that didn't happen.
