I'm less worried about the position of the pad, and more about the lineup, I haven;t seen the games I'm looking for yet

NSMB, Advance wars, Old School Zelda and Metroid (no emo wussy Samus),  Donkey Kong Country

I'm a little worried that Nintendo will continue with the poor gaming choices that have plagued the Wii, Other M, Galaxy, etc.

LOL! How is Galaxy a poor choice? When all is said and done the two games will have sold well over 15 million. Has the entire Advance Wars series even sold 1/5 of that?

Also, Malstrom never replied to my email. I hope I didn't crush his soul with my harsh truths :(

It's relatively rare that he picks apart e-mails that don't agree with his perspective. I sent a few his way when he was really on the Other M hate train that he didn't pick up.

Well what's he supposed to do? Respond to all that disagree? He doesn't even respond to all those that do agree with him. His choices seem to stem mainly from if an email has something important, either in its content or in his response.

Also, he was not on a hate train for Other M. He was, and still is, on a hate train for everything that game seemed to stand for.

I'm not saying that, merely explaining that Okey Dokey's critiques are likely to go unreplied.

Oh. Well mine was about how New Super Mario Bros. Wii has failed to sustain Wii momentum past the holidays and pointed to Wii Fit and Mario Kart, which were able to carry the Wii for over a year and were selling twice and four times (in Wii Fit's case) as many copies at this point in their lifetime.

I hope it pissed him off, at least :P

He replied to such an e-mail, so it probably was yours. Actually, when I was reading that e-mail I found it hard to believe how much of an idiot the guy who wrote it must be, so I am 100 % sure that it was your e-mail.

Oh my God, he did! LMFAO

You mean this one?

The fuck? Wii Music didn't cause Wii sales to collapse. It was doing amazingly during that period because Mario Kart and Wii Fit were still going strong. That was kind of my whole point. And then he says the price drop and Wii Sports Resort had no effect which is also completely false. He truly believes it was 100% Mario!

I wanted an answer as to why the Wii has declined so sharply after a record holiday season and the best he could come up with is people just stopped caring about the console because of Galaxy 2's existence. I guess he missed the part where I said I agreed with him on Other M too and managed to fit a mini Sakamoto rant in there. Pretty much everything else he said was entirely irrelevant.

I am disappoint. Maybe I'll have another go at it when I have the time.

"The fuck? Wii Music didn't cause Wii sales to collapse. It was doing amazingly during that period because Mario Kart and Wii Fit were still going strong"

The point was that after the momentum of those games died down, Music and AC did not keep it. And expecting NSMBWii to just keep up sales for a whole year, but pretending Galaxy 2 and Other M didn't do their jobs is ridiculous.

Hm.

Animal Crossing and Wii Music = holiday titles. Wii momentum slows mid next year. It's Animal Crossing and Wii Music's fault!

NSMBWii = holiday title. Wii momentum dies mid next year. Not NSMBWii's fault!

Wat?

I hope you realise I'm playing devil's advocate to a certain degree here.
