GTA 4 takes the cake. I bought into the hype and then felt so let down after playing it.

None of those 3 are bad games, in fact all 3 are good, but not flawless like many people think.

Grand Theft Auto 4

Its a good game but not a 10/10 game.

Final Fantasy VII

It's not that it's a bad game, it's not, it's just not worthy of all the constant praise it gets.  Cloud is an awful main character, everything Aeris was too forced, and Sephiroth really is one of the most lame main villains ever created.

It's one of those games that should have just been quietly forgotten.

I'm not going to pick GTAIV just because when GTAV comes out GTAIV will be forgotten.  FFVII will always be remembered just because people think they're supposed to.

Your excessive love of Nomura has clouded your ability to appreciate the wonderful charm of this brilliant game.  It's all about attitude, and this title is a bright, shining star filled with pluck and enthusiasm.

Oh, and OT: GTAIV, then FFVII.

That part was really more of a joke.  But seriously... SoA is extremely solid, with a great, unique atmosphere.  Anyway, your opinion is your own, of course.  I just want another SoA!  Come back, Overworks... and Smilebit too... :(

GTA IV is overrated for me because it's boring as hell.

Other than that I can't think of others really.

GTA4

I was more hyped for this game than MGS4 or FF13 and the 10/10 reviews did nothing but sustain and then increase my hype even more. The review from IGN, "Oscar worthy story" was criminal. 10/10 from everywhere! It felt so good the game was gonna be amazing.

But when I actually played that boring game It led to nothing but bitter tears for a few months,, I couldn't accept I didn't like it for like a few days before the shocking reality came forward, I just didn't like it! 

Oh well R* might get it right with GTA5.

umh to be most overrated, it has to be a popular game.

It's likely the pokemon rehases.... though I haven't played them.

Of the ones I played, i'd say GT is probably the most overrated. It's a great series of games, but really not worth waiting years for when the competition is just about as good.

oh and the most overrated thing is HD graphics (firstly cause they really aren't HD in 90% of games).

Either Final Fantasy VII, the 2d sonic games or animal crossing
