i think that was the entire Point of his decision.

And btw, i liked the thing with Pandora's Box, and the ... 'Weapon' that kratos had obtained. pretty deep thing compared to the rest of the Story.

Me too...Kratos has always been an asshole... But I guess he redeemed himself a little at the end of III....but then again, he was the one to cause all that mess in the first place

But Well, i liked what Kratos did in the end, but otherwise, i wonder if.. Athena wanted to be the 'Ruler of Earth' or something like that.. Zeus' Succesor maybe?

Athena had become power hungry, yes....maybe kratos wanted mankind to be free of the rule of the olympians so that no one would suffer a fate similar to his ?

Yeah i didnt like the story either, i think it was inconsistant with the previous games and it couldve been a bit longer, but gameplay wise its the best in the series and the action and QTE are awesome. you know i really do want it to reach 4mil, but i think it may fall shy of 3.8 or 3.9. i wish they'd have marketed better in the EU, there was lost potential there i think. but we're coming to holiday 2011, that could slow or improve the momentium a bit. thoughts???

anyone think they know how long it could take!

hm, i dont think it'll get a 'BIG' Boost, unless it becomes a 'Greatest Hits' Game this Holiday.

Which would mark it as a good present for Sons, Fathers, Boyfriends or Girl who like this Kind of Game.

You know i have a friend who was a longtime fan of the series, but he got a 360 way back when the PS3 was too expensive. hes just waiting until the PS3 gets cheaper to get one. i think titles like Uncharted and GOW will get a small but significant boost when we get a PS3 price cut. anyway, i was skeptical of 4mil, but it seems that people here have convinced me it will happen.

but like i said before, i wish they marketed better in the EU, there is some lost potential in that region imo.

Yeah, i think too, that the european Market has some potential, but otherwise, its much more work to get it running here, as it is in America or Japan, due to many different Language's, and different Rules in each Country. (Just think about the fact, that it took AEONS to get the PSN Cards out here..)

Or.. Sony is just Lazy. xD

fable 2 will hit 4 million , gow3 is outpacing it by quite a bit and it has not yet had its first holiday. it will dance past 4 and will end up between 4.5 -5.0 million units becoming the best selling god of war game and the best selling hack and slash game on the current gen platforms.
