Looking at DMC4's Dante, I realise that I don't really like the way he looks after all and imo DMC3 Dante is better... and the more I see of the new Dante the more I like his design even better, he does seem a lot "darker" and more serious than the old one

description of old Dante i found: "very laid back and often indifferent. He seems to be frequently in debt and never seems able to pay someone back. His favorite food is pizza and he loves a strawberry sundae" - not exactly the darkest/coolest character personality, he sounds a bit silly here - - - the new Dante really seems to be genuinely "bad"

Dante isn't supposed to be dark, he's supposed to be currazy. This new guy is like the nerdiest guy you can think of idea of what cool is.

Hmm, we have some new news: DMC reboot will be powered by Unreal Engine 3. now i dont know much about that type of stuff, although it appears that this is not such great news, because apparently UE3 is not that good for fast paced action and the framerate cannot remain at a consistant 60FPS, do people know if this is actully that bad, or is it just a fan over reaction???

I've heard that point as well, but the freeflow combat system from Batman is imo not in the same league of DMC. however NT seem to have good experience with the UE3 (based on the Enslaved demo) so it could turn out as a non issue...

I've updated this thread i created a year ago, because i think Ninja Theory are a very good developer - who look like they've done a good job with the E3 2011 DmC trailer.

I am not saying that the game they are making is $h!t, what I am saying is that what they are developing IS NOT A DMC GAME!!!. The should just change the name and create a new franchise, just like CAPCOM did when they were trying to make RE4. The game they were doing was so different to what people expected for a RE game, so they create a new franchise which is Devil May Cry. Weird how things work lol
