I just installed this on my new laptop and the gameplay lags like nuts. I know it's not my computer because I checked and I had WAY over the requirements, and I can run L4D on all high and Borderlands on med/low. The patch is already installed and I changed the resolution. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not sure, but I've heard that Resident Evil 4 on the PC was a horrible port so it may just be the awesome port job they did.

RE4  PC is a buggy mess, but it shouldn't lag. I do suggest not bothering with it and picking up Dolphine Wii/Gamecube amulator and playing that version instead. You need the ISO file for either game tho...

Everything about RE4 on the pc is a technical mess. Why would you think that was a good purchase?

I didn't buy it, I got it as a birthday gift but couldn't play it on my old laptop my usbs got warped and it needs a gamepad.

Well the first thing to do would be to check for a patch. If that doesn't work try googleing for a fan patch.

Don't buy Capcom games for PC.

Actually do buy RE5, Dead Rising 2, DMC4 and Lost Planet 2...as they are really well optimized by Nvidia for Physx, 3D vision and monitor surround gaming.  I have all 3 and can't wait to get my hands on Dead Rising 2...
