Stuff I'd like to see...

Nintendo 3DS

  • Virtual Console (likely)
  • universal friend codes (likely)
  • DSiWare content migration (maybe)
  • Monster Hunter 3G (likely, but not yet)
  • launch this year (very likely)

 

Nintendo DS

  • Mother Collection (unlikely)
  • Metroid Dread (;_;)

 

Wii

  • Dragon Quest X unveiling (maybe)
  • Pikmin 3 (likely, but not yet)
  • More NPC reissues like Luigi's Mansion or F-Zero GX (unlikely)
  • decent 3rd party lineup (lol)

And maybe they will mention the upcoming holiday games (Kirby and DK for Japan and the West, and Wii Party for the West).

What I really really want them to announce (but I doubt they will in this conference) are Xenoblade and Last Story release dates for the West. (Also of course 3DS release dates and pricing in the West, but that I am quite certain that they will, at least the dates).

If Xenoblade planned for 1H next year in the west, they might announce it.  The fall conferences usually go into their lineups for the first half of the following year also.

I'm sure Zelda SS, Mario Sports and Pokemon BW will be there too.

I'm pretty sure it'll be almost exclusively about 3DS.  If the rumors are true, it's releasing in Japan in about two months, after all.

September 2005 EGM. Interview with Miyamoto. He talked about Pikmin 3 saying "Revolution's controller is well suited for it."

One of Nintendo's crappy E3's (2007, 2008, 2009, can't remember which). Miyamoto said at one of the roundtable conferences that Nintendo is working on Pikmin 3.
