Well, i dont agree that railed games cant be "core" games but lets be honest, the ratio and quality of on rails games is rare when we have been exposed to games like Oblivion, Dragon Age, Halo, Bioshock, RDR, LBP, Gears. Pointing to a small number of games is an example of the exception rather than rule.

Course those core games are mega sales flops and I really don't think Microsoft wants to emulate that.

Panzer Dragoon Orta is a cult classic and Killer 7 was just too over the top and disturbing for most people.



 How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

What kind of "hardcore" games could you actually play with Kinect? how are you supposed to move around?  playing a FPS for example will be relly really really tiring after a while without a analog stick to move around with.



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

isn't child of eden an innovative core experience for kinect?

 

I suspect microsoft is working on it.. cant wait to see what they have in store.. Im kinda interested in kinect

I honestly think they will try to make a couple core games but the entire experience is designed to be extreme casual.

I dont know about that, Star Wars is enough for me. Got fairly into Star Wars in the last year but cant justify getting a Star Wars game (even the Force Unleashed), but i can justify the Kinect one.
