I'd be interested to hear some initial reports as well.

Found this: 440 Gamestop locations in the US were open at midnight for the launch of Move. Looks like a positive sign.

There are a few places sold out here (NZ), online and B&M stores, but that could be because they understocked/had a small shipment.  Quite a few stores are pushing it though with plenty of in-store advertising, plus online(landing page) and TV advertising.

I picked up my Move controller wednesday and GameStop were sold out of Sports Champions from pre-orders alone. Another big retail chain in Denmark (Elgiganten) are sold out of Moves (not the bundle), NavCons, the gun attachment, the charger and the full PS3-Move bundle in their online store and my local store as well.

I think Move is doing pretty well here in Denmark.

anyone from UK have any anecdote to share. ?? or has MOVE not launched in UK just yet?

On Amazon.com's best-selling game list, the Starter Bundle is ranked 2nd (behind Halo Reach), the Move Controller is 4th (behind Civilization) and the Navigation Controller is in sixth place (behind Black Ops on 360).

I saw a man walk out of gamestop with 1.3 million moves. So at least that many.

Time for hype

I went and picked up a PS3 and 4 Move controllers and sport champions for our office this morning at a local GAME store in Cambridge, UK. They seemed to have a decent amount of stuff in stock at that point, so not a morning rush. Not that there seemed to be a rush for Halo Reach stuff either, so it could just have been a very quiet store :)
