Nope, though admitidly it was my GF's favorite.  Not enough strategy in the "Sweet Science" but that's the same with pretty much all the boxing games.  I stick to the bowling, and the golf.  Can't wait for someone to make a decent golf game on the Wii.  MLB Power Pros has me set for baseball in the same way Tecmo Superbowl has me set up for football.  You should pick it up for PS2 and play it on your PS3.  Awesome game.  Doesn't use motion controls at all so the expierence shouldn't be any different gameplay wise.

 no.. I'm being serious.. Wii Sport's Bowling game is the only current gen game to compare it too... 

I like the motion control.. and I rented that ages ago.. not that good..

 How do you even compare the two?  In High velocity bowling motion sensing is just a gimmic to set the power.  In Wii bowling it controls both the velocity and the curve to where you have to make an actual bowling motion to play the game.

This thread is silly and there is a ton of flamebait.

Point #1: This looks like a good game, and is definitely a great alternative for folks who have a PS3, are interested in Wii bowling, but don't want to buy a Wii (and obviously don't have one).

Point #2: Making a comparison and a claim as to which is better amongst the two games is probably close to the very definition of flame bait.

Point #3: Saying Wii sports' 5 games getting the same score as the bowling game's score does not, in any way, imply...at all...that one is better than the other. There are way too many factors and quite honestly unless one game were better in every way it would be dishonest. I'm sure they each have their strengths, lets leave it at that.

 Yep, visually, style, and gameplay. Trick bowling is awesome.

@Kas - the motion control is for everything that Wii Sports has it do. Setting your character, setting angle, power. Only thing you dont do is control the letting go of the ball and spin is put on the triggers. As for comfort on holding the control. It's quite comfy. 

Still.. for everyone who is saying I'm a PS3 fan I wouldnt care if my PS3 caught on fire right now. PC = <3 

 Call me again when High velocity bowling becomes the best system seller of this generation and a GOTY contender.
