It's so ironic.  2009 was the PSP's best year by far in terms of first party software, and 2010 is looking like it could be the system's best year in third party software, between this, Kingdom Hearts, and Metal Gear.  Plus you have God of War on top of that.  Meanwhile, it's over these two years that the system has begun its slow spiral into death in the West.

im thinking the story wont be as good for some reason. though everything else seems solid.

Hopefully it will have long legs. It might be more popular than the first in Europe.

I wish I could say the same in the United States.  Sadly since it's on a portable it will probably be ignored and the fact that Halo Reach is coming soon after means this game is probably being sent out to die over here.  But I will do my part and buy it for whatever its worth.

No it's not going to be IGNORED in the US, more like pirated. =/

OT: I seriously hope this sells well...who knows, maybe as Boutros said it could be more popular in Europe than the first, which may propel the first game's sales further. First game is my third favorite game on PS3 (after MGS4 and Demon's Souls, that is).

Oh, and one more thing: YEEAARGH! VEGE-TA-BLES!

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

I need to buy this game after I get a PSP |:

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

I have mixed feelings about this. Glad the next entry in the VC series is getting good press, sad that it's not on PS3. Hoping for good sales to geep the franchise alive, worried that if sales on PSP are too good that it'll never come back to PS3.

Gotta love nature!

I got hold of the Japanese version... but my Japanese still can't deal with all the slang... So am picking it up in a few days when it is released in the UK. Don't see why they have to release it so close to freshers week. >.>

I like that the sub characters get a lot more spot light time and you get to know them better then just from DLC and those diary entries.

Pre-ordered this just a while ago together with KH:BBS. I hope for a far better sequel on PS3 that will surpass the original.

I'm a little disappointed that you can only deploy about 5-6 troops, atleast in the demo. Also the changing battle-arenas thing feels a bit rusty. Of course it feels like it because it's fairly downgraded from the first game. Regardless it should provide just as much joy as the first game.

The quotes in this thread are putting a huge smile on my face.  I hope VC2 is a memorable!  The demo was awesome.  I hope it has online play, too.  Then I can say "Let me join in!"
