The thing I always found odd about that is in Viridian Gym episode in the first series, Ash says he cant believe its been a year since he was last there. So time does pass but no one ages. WTF!? (Just note I dont watch the cartoon anymore, I grew out of it years ago)

The new design looks nice. Still not crazy about the new Officer Jenny look though. She reminds me of one of the characters from Dual! Parallel Adventures (a spin off from the Tenchi Muyo series. Well a series from the creator that happens to connect with the Tenchi universe to a degree). However that character didn't start off that way. What will matter in the end is how they have Jenny act and the look could grow on me. I still catch the show some mornings while getting ready for work as I have either cartoons or the news on in the background or when I'm not doing anything on Saturday mornings.
