Forums - Gaming Discussion - What are you buying from now until the end of the year?

All Wii:

Metroid Other M

Kirby's Epic Yarn

Conduit 2

GoldenEye

Call Of Duty: Black Ops

Donkey Kong Country Returns

Two Worlds II - looks so much better than the first one. A great substitute while waiting for TESV.

Pretty awesome huh?! A large world to freely explore. Has great looking physics that play a role. Spells that can be combined. Pick ingredients for alchemy and potions.

GT5 - no explanations needed.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhoods - it's Assassin's Creed.
Fable 3 - it's Fable.
Lionheart: King's Crusade - because it's an RTS about the Crusades
Arcania Gothic 4 - a poor man's Oblivion.
Halo: Reach - it's Halo.

Got Mass Effect 2 yesterday, which sort of counts and also doesnt

Halo Reach - got that preorder and will hopefully get it through the post on release day

Assassins Creed Brotherhood - Second favourite series after Halo, most likely a first day pick up from my local Game store

Have several 'maybes' on my tracked list. Feel I play my other games enough which will deter me from getting them but they still interest me and look pretty fun. List includes Kirbys Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Legend of Zelda The Skyward Sword and Goldeneye 007. Will defientely keep an eye on how well they do.

lbp2 and Move are my only certain buys.  lot's more on my watch list but too many to buy them all so i'm going to use reviews to discriminate the best from the worst.

Vanquish (PS3)
Naruto Narutimate Storm 2 (PS3)
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS3)
Gran Turismo 5
Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3)
Tales of Graces F
The Last Story

PS Move and Big 3 Gun Shooting

Let's see here:

Fable III- Because Fable II was freaking awesome!

Halo: Reach- I've been playing Halo since the original on Xbox, so of course I will get this.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West- I'm going to get this to give to someone as a Christmas present.

Either:

Call of Duty: Black Ops- I've always wanted to try Call of Duty (I've only played a little of CoD 2) and I'm studying Vietnam right now, so there you go.

FIFA 11- I'd just like to see how many goals I can tally in a season with Chelsea, though that multiplayer looks fun.

and finally...

Plants vs. Zombies XBLA- Because Popcap rocks my socks!

Assassin's Creed can wait because it drops in price so fast. I'll probably ask for Fallout for a Christmas gift. Two Worlds II and Gothic 4 will have to wait. I'd like to see reviews of the Sims 3 before I commit to buying it on a console. Also, XBLA games aren't announced too far in advance, so there might be more purchases there if stuff like Comic Jumper or Hydrophobia is released.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Will Get:

Fable 3 - 360

Fallout: New Vegas - 360

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - 360

May Get Depending on Individual Gamer Reviews:

Metro 2033 - PC

Halo: Reach (360)

Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3)

Goldeneye 007 (Wii)

Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)

Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)

Wii Party (Wii)

Maybe's:

Medal of Honor (PS3)

Metroid: Other M (Wii)

320gb Playstation plus Move Bundle (PS3)

just two for certain, Fallout:New Vegas (pre-ordered collectors ed) and GT5 (pre-ordered signature ed.)

other than that, perhaps a few minis/PSN titles and whatever they throw at me for free on PSN

Maybe Move and one or two games too.

Proud Sony Rear Admiral

I'll probably buy a new PC this fall and want to buy: Fallout:New Vegas, Brink (maybe), Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (maybe) and Starcraft II.

I also have a xbox 360, but there aren't any exclusives I'll buy. Waiting for GeoW III though.
