You gotta be kidding me. Are you a PC gamer ? If not there should be any reason why GoW 3 doesn't wow you....the scale goddamit !!!

In-game Chloe (especially her hair) looked weird to me. That is definitely a doctored image.

Its meant to look like that. Its like a skeleton made of running water...the H₂O in Hades looked awesome imo and the fire effects caused by the bow of Apollo and the Cerebus were pretty sweet.

thats ingame actually, since the game doesn't use CGI, its when Drake passes out and remember oh happy days with chloe

These are the choices, and imo Killzone still is so unbelievably beautiful, it looks so realistic at times. I just cant stop staring at the grip of the gun.... so gorgeous, so that is my vote, but all 3 are just mind boggling.

I know it doesn't use CGI, but that doesn't look ingame. I've played Uncharted 2 and Chloe is noticeably different (yes, I played it in HD). That image has to be doctored (bullshot)...everybody does that to promote their games when they release screenshots.

Another reason why people may think GoW 3 is inferior to UC2 when it isn't -

GoW 3's cutscenes are 100% in-game, bar a few that includes animated sequences and a couple of crazy cutscenes.

As in, if you're using a special skin, that skin will appear in the cutscene. If you have opened a chest in the background, it will be open in the cutscene...if you didn't open it, it won't be open in the cutscene.

In UC2, most of the cutscenes are pre-recorded videos using enhanced in-game assets...hence, they can be skipped using the start menu. Those cutscenes look as good as GoW 3's 100% in game ones...but there are a few UC2 cutscenes done 100% ingame and they look like ass compared to GoW 3.

Edit : Doughnut drake does not appear in most cutscenes and Drake switches to normal Drake during them because of this.

This also means no Chloe on Chloe lesbian making out scene in the early parts of the game. (because it isn't in-game)

i think people like games with more color like uncharted 2 so they say its better then gow3 and killzone 2/3 but imo gow3 is better

In technical achievement, Uncharted 2. Everything looks much clearer and more detailed.

But in environment design...the halls of Olympus, the depths of Hades, Olympia...they all look so incredible that I have to give the victory to God of War III overall.

My list goes like this:

1. Uncharted 2

2. God of War 3

3. Killzone 2

4. Heavy Rain

5. Metal Gear Solid 4

6. Flower

7. Folklore

8. The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion

9. Bioshock

10. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

In about a year, I'm betting the list will probably drastically change to something like this:

1. Gran Turismo 5

2. Killzone 3

3. Uncharted 2

4. Infamous 2

5. God of War 3 

6. Resistance 3 (I don't know, I have a feeling Insomniac might try to impress)

7. The Last Guardian 

8. Dead Space 2

9. Little Big Planet 2

10. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2

Visually & technically GOW3 beats uncharted 2

But while uncharted 2 always looks great there are some "not so good looking " parts in GOW3

Overall GOW3 wins hands down.

I think GOW 3 is a much bigger technical achievement considering the awesomeness of the titans. UC2 paid more attention to detail though :/
