Forums - PC Discussion - PC 2008 Lineup [56k warning]

2007 was heavily marked by lack of PC-centric games and exclusives, a trend that had been continued since the beginning of 2000. However in 2008, PC gaming is looking to resurge and stand up on it's feet.

From revival of exclusive established franchises such as Starcraft, Jagged Alliance, Disciples (strategy), Dracula, Simon the sorcerer (adventure), Far Cry, Chrome, American Mcgee's (action) , Jumpgate (simulation), mixed with new interesting IP's and great multiplatform games will provide a superior entertainment for strategy nerds, adrenalin junkies, adventure fanboys and roleplaying tards.

PS: The list isn't complete. gonna work on it a while longer. Will also cover the multiplats and such.

Out of the list exclusive games, the AAA titles(hopefully) are: Starcraft 2, Empire: Total War, Spore, Sins of the Solar Empire, Gray Matter, A Vampyre Story, Dragon Age, Guild Wars 2, WoW: Wrath of Lich King, Warhammer Online, Farcry 2.

PC gaming is back :D

This recent surge in technology, and it finally being affordable is going to have a massive impact over the coming years. Reminds me of 1996-2001 all over again.

Great Topic, great Job, thank you i've discover several game for me next year :)

"Subversion
Fourth Introversion game (after Uplink, Darwinia and Defcon)"

Sadly, I've never really played Darwina or Uplink. However, Defcon is kind of cool.... and pretty creepy in the fact that you're engaging the world in nuclear warfare.
--

Anyway, lots of PC games. I'm looking foward to seeing more on the new Total War game, that's for sure.

Also, while it's being made by the Homeworld: Catylist people, I'm probably going to be looking into Sins of a Solar Empire too. I play Homeworld 1 and 2 from time to time (now being one of those times).

Wow,

theres so many PC games I want.
