There should be a proper no answer. Yeah I know about the yes means no garbage. I'm also in the mind that due to his works of pissing off governments that this could be a fabrication. Maybe it's true, but these are serious charges that could certainly lead to a successful discredit even if proven false.

honestly...do you think the cia is going to pay someone to say they were raped by him.  its absurd.

Because the CIA has never done anything like it before?  How naive can you be?

This is the CIA we're talking about. Thats exactly the type of thing the CIA would do.

I’m much more inclined to believe that his increased notoriety from the Wikileaks scandals led to these charges than some grand government conspiracy. Like most celebrities who end up with similar accusations I think there are two likely causes, someone they did harm finally seeks charges because they’re (in part) upset by how people worship you, or someone you didn’t harm wants to use your notoriety to become "famous"

Or maybe he is a dirtback who attacked someone and he  just happened to release secret documents  but his work is so important they should just release him

Just like Roman Polanski

The Americans fucked up with Roman Polanski. Not just once either, first they let him get away and then they screwed up the extradition.

If he is a rapist he deserves to go to jail, it just seems a startling coincidence that he is accused mere weeks after he really really fucked off the American intelligence community.

It's the CIA.  This is not the type of thing they'd do, because, assuming all of this really was planned, it's just about the crappiest frame job you could do.  If the CIA was involved, they'd have no problem whipping up an ironclad story and getting a convcition.

Most of the charges have already been dropped but their is still a molestation charge that apparently isn't a felony as someone has already posted but here's a link.  Looks like the CIA wasn't involved.

I dunno. The CIA doesn't always seem entirely competent.

Polanski was receiving good will due to the savage murder of his wife by the manson clan

He drugged and raped a girl under 16, that is she didn't want to have sex with him so he plied her with booze and drugs.  Read the court transcripts and his comments making light of what he did.

The victim to this day doesn't deny this

He is a predator who is defended  by most of the Hollywood crowd who say:

Look at the artistic merit of his work more than makes up for his slight transgressions.  I say bullshit

That's the funny thing about the CIA.  They're painted as all powerful but also incompetant.  It's funny.

I mean, it's basically what you're accusing them of here.
