Heavy Rain & inFamous are the 2 I highly reccommend. LittleBigPlanet is awesome as well.
Resistance 2 could be a good bargain pickup if you can find it for a reasonable price
Resistance 2 was pretty good, not the best game ever or anything but i still loved it (im a huge resistance fan). And it should be pretty cheap right now. Since you hve the first and the 3rd is on its way so get it so you know the story. The 3rd one is going to be EPIC.

I agree.
Definitely Heavy Rain and inFamous. inFamous isn't pricey and Heavy Rain is worth every penny.
Resistance 2 is a lot of fun online plus it's one of the rare games on the PS3 that allows you to play splitscreen online.
LittleBigPlanet is also one of the rare games for multiplayer fun on the PS3.
Also, the Buzz! games can easily be found for 20$ (including the buzzers). You will have fun with friends, guaranteed!
There's Warhawk too. You need to try this game. And it's ultra cheap!
They also used to sell warhawk with a blutooth headset included (dont know if still do) so 2 birds with 1 stone. Or pick up a PSeye cheap good mic and works with move if you decide to pick it up.
Its also pretty fun.

If I remember correctly, the game autosaves after anything you do (open the menu? It autosaves) so if you just turn of the PS3, the game will resume wherever you were in that level.
So yes. Demon's Souls is the one I would recommend most out of all the games in this thread.

I DID google it and your description seems spot on. Mind = blown. How did I miss this when it came out I wonder?
I've got some figuring out to do. Some demo's I need to get downloading, and I think I'm going to pick up Infamous and 3D Dot Game Heroes first.
