Forums - Gaming Discussion - Let's Talk About Mass Effect 2 (General Thread) - Now For Sony Fans, Too

I personally am one who believes games should stay exclusive because that differentiates the consoles. All the "more people that the better" nonsense is just stupid to me. Why don't you just wish for a one console market, so all the games come to it and "the more people the better"?

You know what...more people can play the game. It *was* called "buy a 360 or build a PC" since that was the initial market. We are all capable of doing that right? This game was out a year ago. If you saved $3/day, you could have a 360 in a little over 3 months, so don't even say "blah blah blah we all can't just afford something like that blah blah blah bills to pay yadda yadda yadda". If you think rationally for a second, then the "more the better" logic and saying you can't buy a 360 (but you have a PS3?) is just silly

Man, I am going to refer you to point 4.

You know I'm a big PS3 buff...and it's EA, so it was bound to happen anyway. But still

My Question of the day! (If you don't mind Khuutra I could do this everyday, just for fun)

Who was your favourite Character from MASS EFFECT 2?

______________

Mine was Mordin Soul! He was simply awesome, it was always interesting talking to him because he was funny even though he didn't mean too and the stuff he blabbed on about was actually pretty interesting most of the time! And he's the BEST SINGER in the Galaxy!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Already a Mass Effect thread for this. Been there for months.

I don't make it a habit to ressurect long-dead threads. The ME2 topic I had in the Microsoft forum did nice for itself; this one will do the same.

I liked a lot of characters in ME2. It's hard to narrow it down to just one.

I'll say the one that's goiong to be answre the least, then: Samara.

I started out disliking Samara considerably. She grew on me a lot, especially in the conversations immediately preceding and following her loyalty mission.

my favorite mass effect 2 character is between jack and thane ...also tali loyalty mission was awesome

Can I contribute nothing other than the fact that I really really want this game?

I started to play it on the 360, but it broke (can I whine about RROD? ) so I thought I would never play it (my PC sucks).

Now, I can finally play it.

I just dont know what they will do about the choices you could make on ME1. From what I have heard, the default Shepard on ME2 made really bad choices on 1.

Is that true?

He made nothing but bad choices. The Council will be dead, Wrex will be dead, you won't have helped anyone, on and on and on.

We need word on how they're going to resolve that.

I'm guessing they'll extend the interview sequence between Shepard and Miranda at the start, or they won't resolve it at all. And even if they do, I doubt they'll cover the really minor choices, since they're really not worth the effort IMO.

They actually revealed today tat there will be something to resolve this in the beginning. They haven't outlined what, just that it will be resolved and that it will be fun to play.

Yeah, I figured they'd cover at least the big choices - but they kinda left Dragon Age hanging after Awakening, so I wasn't exactly sure.

And since they are referring to playable sequences... Flashbacks?
