If Reach doesn't move NO existing 360 game will...the amount may vary depending on ones expectations but Reach and GT5 will without a doubt move consoles for the systems..and these are not the ONLY games that will be out too since the HD twins get such great 3rd party support unlike the wii. and I don't think it will be JUST Reach or GT5 it's such big games PLUS their new motion controllers plus new bundles, new editions, colors, etc etc and possible price cuts for the ps3 will do wonders.

And killer game? Quality? without a doubt will be the best Sim this gen, you can quote me on that. Sales? It will do great and keep in mind GT was always about legs, I would be utterly shocked if it doesn't pass 7mil in the 'least'

Pachter really acts like a politician. He keeps coming to the same conclusions every time. "Wii owners don't buy games" and "Wii is declining"

He's been repeating those points since the Wii launched.

So if Ninty makes a hardware revision like MS & Sony then everything will be "peachy"?

Comparing increased hardware sales(due to hardware revision), to the leading competitor reaching console saturation is grabbing at air. His software statement, however, is valid if you only include 3rd parties.

Those are the elements that most people complain about, they're easy to spot and work on. I don't remember well but at certain point Iwata was talking about improve the online interface of the Wii and DS.

I agree with what you said about Nintendo having other plans for the Wii. In that "Letter from the President" statement that Iwata maked it sounds like, as many have stated before, that it will BASICALLY be a new gen when Nintendo releases the next Wii.

Personally I was hoping that Nintendo would handle their console business like their handheld business, heck they still could cause the DS Lite from different from the Phat, and so on. It's kinda how MS did the revision of the 360, adding Wi-Fi instead of just making it slimmer with a bigger hard disk.
