Forums - Sony Discussion - TwistDock and why you may want one for your PS3

though being a little on the pricey side for some about $98.40  US..this company makes good product's

TwistDock is the perfect accessory for any PS3 owner. It is currently preparing to launch in the U.S. (it already has launched in Europe) during E3. The TwistDock docks your PS3 and manages to keep your gaming area neater. The TwistDock also doubles as a place to dock and charge the PS3’s controllers, plus it adds 4 additional USB ports for connecting more peripherals and 2 additional USB charging ports.  The TwistDock retails for €79,99 ($98.40). Unfortunately there is no word yet on what the official US price will be.

now while i do think the Price is a little steep, i think it's of good quality and it's not outlandish for their quality. When it does release i am planning on getting one of these myself.

Nice, but that first ad sucks though. Kinda thing I would like to get as a gift

Is there any way you can post pictures of it?  I cant view the videos at work.

Also,  does it work with all models?

yes it indeed does work with the orig. PS3's also..an here are some pic's

front:

Compatible with both the Original and Slim versions of the PS3, the dock is designed to blend seamlessly with the console so it doesn’t do anything to alter your living room decor set-up too much.

The twist to the TwistDock is that it is more than just a dock. The station hosts the consoles up front, while there are two slots in the back to charge controllers and USB peripherals. Besides keeping things neat and tidy, the TwistDock also adds on two USB ports plus an optional USB hub for four more USB slots.

The TwistDock pricing will be ready to be gifted this holiday season when it is released in the fourth quarter of 2010. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but that will be revealed later this summer.

Thanks for the info,  this is so mine when it gets released,   I need to get my gaming area cleaned up and this will help

il pass it doesnt really do anything if it had places to store my pseye headset and spare wires ect.. it might keep my set up tidy but my ps3 is on my table now with my two controllers beside it its pretty clean and i have a little black thing that has 4 usb connections

it seems cool but I wonder what I will think of the purchase years from now.

Also, is the PS3 not completely vertical? it looks to be placed at an angle, which seems strange for the disc rotation as well as the cooling of the unit.

yes it's at an angle as long as you do not rotate it while it's on an your gaming you should not have a problem. IT's not really any thing out of the ordinary as long as it's not moved sitting like that would be like setting in flat or straight up and down.
