That's what I'm hoping but it'll be JP first and then 3 months later Rest of the World

PRetty much what I'm hoping BUT I think we'll get a same month worldwide release like XIV is getting.

Is it too much to hope for a spring 2011 release?

Well hopefully we can get a same month WorldWide Release but I'm just considering the options.

Spring 2011 is 30/70. 30% of happening an 70% not happening. And it'll be 20/80 if we're talking WorldWide Release Same month. Reason is Nomura will reveal lots of Versus XIII at TGS which is September but he won't have the actual game finished until early 2011 I'm guessing Jan/Feb. So from September onwards, Square Enix can start to advertise Versus XIII like FF XIII by releasing a Demo to public,etc and once he finishes the game by Feb 2011, Square Enix can then go into full advertising in Japan at the start of the year for maybe a Summer 2011 JP release and Fall 2011 Rest of the World Release. So I'm guessing there's a bigger chance that a WorldWide Release in Spring 2011 is highly unlikely.

Well I HOPE AT LEAST we get it in 2011, pushing it to 2012 will be unbearable!

i thought we would've got a worldwide release at around spring 2011. SE really need to sort this shite out. i mean, we've already had 2 Uncharted games, 2 Mass Effects etc. i think people get the gist of it. personally after FF13's reputation, i'm not sure how successful Versus can be. but at the moment i'm mainly looking foward to this and Last Guardian, both will be huge at TGS (hopefully).

I think it'll be:

-fall 2011 jap.

-march 2012 in west.

So, it is gonna be 2 years after XIII. Acceptable.

 

WHAT THEY NEED TO DO:

CHANGE THE FU***** NAME TO

FINAL FANTASY XV.

Most of my friends that heard about versusxiii think that the game is a spin-off. Even if SE markets very well, there will be people thinking the same. This game must be a commercial succes. I want it to be. And with this name, I think it's impossible.

did FF12's "bad" reputation harm ff13 sales? luking at user reviews accross lots ov site on th internet including this one FF12 was received worse thn FF13 among th ff users. And before it FFX-2 ws received evn worse. wth critics I know its opposite, but with ppl buying th game FF13 was received bettr thn FF12.

luk at ff14 pre-orders rite now, they r doing bettr thn ff13 pre-orders wer doing at th same time, wht does this show us? it definetely dusnt show th franchise is weaker, it actully shows th frnchise has become strongr.
