ND will put Uncharted 3 in 3D and still make it look even better than Uncharted 2 and it will sell billions of 3D tvs for Sony...

I doubt they can do 3D with the same visuals as Uncharted 2...

I personally don't want them even bothering with 3D.  For gaming it hurts the graphics way too much and just doesn't add enough (IMO).  From my experience with 3D GT5 and Killzone 3 at E3, the 3D effect just added a hardly noticeable bit of depth and hurt the graphics way too much to be worth it.

It  doesn't hurt to have the option. You could always switch to 2D if you didn't like it.

True.  I don't mind the option, I just think it is a waste of development time and disc space.  I'd rather they push it to the max with more assets, better textures, etc.

If they can do a 3D option and still get it out in the original release schedule then great!  I want me some Uncharted 3

I agree, but there are a the flagship Sony developer so they will be pushed to do 3D and I think they can do it well, even if it is not really worth it

Wow, so all that crap about pushing the PS3 100% was really crap just like Naughty Dog said anyone who says that is full of crap before they were working on the PS3?

Who knew.

Anyways, I don't really care if it uses 100% of the PS3 power, I assume it will deliver on everything necause Uncharted 1 and 2 were fantastic and articles like this are just useless hype and fanboy bait.

Yup like that Ghostbusters port

Yes, definitely.  I certainly don't want U3's visuals or framerate compromised in any way for 3D without the option to turn it off.  Uncharted 2's graphics, overall, are still the best so far on a home console, IMO.  Can't wait to see if they can improve over U2 the way it did over the original.

They didn't really say that it uses 100% of the PS3 power, it was something more like the SPUs are in use all the time or something like that...

Even if they can't push it further the pS3 has proved its one badass machine!

It will be hard for them to match the epicness of Uncharted 2, heres for hoping they prove me wrong.

Developer with close ties to Sony announces there's more power to squeeze out of the ps3!! Holy shit who would have thought.

How gullible are you guys? No kidding ND is going to say something like this. I'm not sure it really means anything beyond 'we will make improvements over our last game' which is a really obvious and pointless thing to say.

u know whats funny... they actually delivered on urcharted 2.

I think that is the true reason the Uncharted Movie got delayed. The Director saw early gameplay of Uncharted 3 and left the project when he realized the game will look better than the movie

LOL!!! this!

Uncharted3 will be the last Uncharted this gen.

I hope they just don't mean graphics only... I'd rather have the same graphics but have a lengthier campaign, more multiplayer options (modes, maps, characters, guns, etc.) and an even more awesome story (though they really have raised the bar with UC2).
