Wow, can you believe the resemblance this game has towards Super Mario Bros? Check it out:




Never-the-less, this game looks fun, but it's no Super Mario Bros. The game exists on the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, MSX, ZX Spectrum, and mobile phone. Some of the similarities between it, and Super Mario Bros., are the Goombas, Koopas, pipes, blocks, and clouds. That's only some of the similarities. Replace the main character with Mario, and you would have to look twice to know that it is not Super Mario Bros.

Yeah, it's pretty sad. There is a hack that exists, which replaces the main character with Mario. I thought it was a fan-made Mario game at first.

It is tougher but mainly because the controls are much worse than smb.
I used to play Giana Sisters alot on my C64. I even still know the cheat:
Press A R M I N all at the same time in the Start screen to get unlimited lives (This is the name of the main programmer)

I like how the girl on the cover looks like a moderately hot cheerleaderish type, while the in-game model looks like a 12 year old. A very scary 8 year old.

But yeah, everyone laughing at how India and China keep making copies of existing Western products should remember that's just the way immature industries work. We weren't much different some decades ago.
