Well if im correct, Halo is releasing this year while Killzone is releasing in 2011. The BETTER GAME just might be Killzone because of it being released later ;O you never know until they're both out and you play them.

Everyone knows Halo is bigger then Killzone, just as Gran Turismo series are bigger than Forza series. I don't care much about sales or hype though. I just might enjoy killzone over halo as I did with Killzone 2 over Halo 3 ;0.

From someone who cares about NEITHER of those games I must say that the article is really silly, they aren't analysing things really well.

Both games badass and I will play them. The arguement between only Sony or Microsoft fans is childish. I'm the best. Well I'm better. No I'm the besstest. I'm the best infinity. Actually I'm the best infinity plus one.

OT: its obvious. Killzone is yet another solid multimillion-selling franchise, that Sony ususally builds. The only Halo-level game they have is GT, and the rest are all great IPs that sell in the 1-4 million region... Halo is massive, its epic and all that, especially when it comes down to sales, but MS has a different aproach to games. They have 2 pretty damn big exclusive, 5 million selling IPs this gen, then 2 smaller ones ( Fable/Forza) and from there on they only buil on 3rd party support...

I don't play either game but its pretty obvious that Halo 3 is the better of the two given the fact that people still play it in significant numbers two and a half years and 3 COD releases later. Obviously its not a downer upon Killzone 2 because it only implies how great Halo is, it doesn't mean that Killzone 2 itself lacks as a game.

And well... Halo is more popular, that's for sure, we don't need an article to tell us, but I could never find out what is so special about Halo. I actually enjoyed almost every FPS more in the past years. (I have to admit here: I haven't played Halo:CE and Halo 2, but I did heavy research on the story before playing Halo 3, of course.)

Anyway, it doesn't really matter to me how popular Halo is and how well it will sell. Killzone 2 was awesome, Killzone 3 is likely to be that as well, so it's a must buy for me. Halo: Reach is more of a "perhaps buy it when it's cheaper" thing.

Just my opinion...

I predict Selnor's review for Halo Reach to be 10/10.

Are we really debating the quality of two console shooters? Let me end it once and for all, they're both mediocre. I will say this though, the success numbers wise of Halo comes from the fact that a large portion of xbox users only buy and play shooting games. Playstation is more diverse.
