here is the part i don't get when talkin about afghanistan and 9/11.

The list of terrorist that were given for 9/11 were all from saudi arabia and not from Iraq or Afghanistan.what does afghanistan have to do with 9/11?Based on that lsit why didn't us attack saudi arabia??oh i know why ;)

I watched a documentry called truth about 9/11 and after that i m not even sure "terrorists" were responsible for 9/11 to be honest.

Whatever ,,,,,politics is too dirty and twisted for me (or you guys for that matter ) to give a proper and fair opinoin.

Because it is not important from witch nation the terrorists are in this case. But who are the ones who influenced them to do this...Al qaeda have members around the globe France, Uk, Germany, Holland, Spain, Belgium, Italy , Canada, Pakistan, China, etc;..and even in the USA...so USA shall attack USA aswell?

Oh no their are terrorists in California!
-  Let's drop an A-bomb!  Hey California is already lost anyway so who cares?

The only thing I don't understand why a big army should stop terrorists can't special forces, Navy seals (or whatever) do the job....NOt talking about a few people ofcourse;.if it have to, a few thousand;

Now their are so many sholdiers wandering around doing nothing expect hoping that they will not blow up today and hope they can celebrate christmas with their children and if something happens the soldiers attack back, possible killing a few afghan civilians 'accidentaly',

Afghan civilians see this join al qaeda, some leave the country,  become immigrants in an European nation or in AUS/Canada/USA where they tell their muslim brothers how evil America is and how the western Nations are joining USA in killing innocent muslims, some of the muslim who heared this stories and afghan emigrants then become imams in those Western nations where they have speeches how evil the Western Nations are, that brainwashes mostly the muslim youth living in those countries who then become the evil youth groups we all know who show little respect to the non-muslim living population (especially jews)that then lead to 'extreme' right wining votes in those countries who most of the time got so many votes thx to their anti-islam policy....That then again leads to an 'Those Western Nations really hate Muslims and Allah' mentality in Islam countries ..;'maybe al Qaeda is right after all?

if I was not a Human I would enjoy this soap, sadly I am and it disgusts me.

In 2008, a AC-130 "Spectre" gunship carried out a ground attack on the village of Azizabad in Herat Province. The target was a Taliban commander. The report at the time said that no civilians had died. It only refers to 30 insurgents killed in action.

In fact, according to a UN report, 90 civilians died - 60 of them children as well as 15 women.

Meanwhile in September 2006, troops taking part in Operation Medusa moved into a large area around Panjwayi, west of Kandahar, and a known Taliban stronghold.

A Nato report found that 31 civilians had died - 20 of them from the same extended family following an airstrike. The leaked documents record 181 civilian deaths.

http://www.channel4.com/news/articles/politics/international_politics/secret files wikileaks exposes aposunseen afghan warapos/3723387

Wikileaks shows the truth once again.

Yes it has shown the truth that there is such thing as collateral damage. The US ,in general ,actually tries to prevent any civilian casualties, after all,how are they going to win the "hearts and minds" of the population ? The Taliban on the other hand, openly use civilians as hostages and don't show any regret in killing innocents. No doubt you wont see that side of the story because all you are interested in is trying to show how "evil" the US is.

How about the fact that US is killing thousands of civillians and then cover up their deaths?

And the US probably isn't even going to win the war. They're losing it to the taliban.

Here we go again, you don't even make a response to my post, instead you just spout out more of the same.In military terms, the Taliban have been defeated again and again and again. Its the battle for the "hearts and minds" which the US are in danger of losing and the US will try and keep civilian casualties down as low as possible because otherwise they cannot hope to win the battle for "hearts and mind".

"They will know heghan belongs to the helghast"

"England expects that everyman will do his duty"

"we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender"

Think of it this way. If some foreign people came to your country and killed your family, for whatever reason, you are not going to hold grudges?

Surely, you'll want blood. You are then, really just out for personal vengence but automatically falls into the "terrorism" list. You are also a hot item to recruit for those that want to take advantage of the situation, namely, the real orangized terrors.

If you're going to kill 1 terrorist but end up killing 2 other innocent civilians, you're going to produce more enemies in the end.

Just leave them to fix their own problems and defend at home.

I lolled so much..This happens a lot to me aswell. I know what you are talking about.

Dems said give them power in congress, and they will end this war. We did, they didn't.

For the last 4 years Democrats have had the ability to stop this war, and they have done nothing.

I point this out for all the Bush hating people who will blame this on him alone. This is not Bush's war, it's Washington's war, and it needs to end.

Classic work there. Deflecting responsibility for Afghanistan, while ignoring the main problem thus far (Iraq), which the US have actually agreed to withdraw from.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

but will the american war criminals face punishment? no, of course not, they decide how laws are applied, they are like a brutal dictatorship, they control the UN and have no regard for anyone but themselves, they live as a nation by their self interest, greed and arrogance, they are ruthless and evil, they will have a big hand in the 3rd world war, and will be the destroyers of the human race.

they lack compassion and empathy, which makes them, and there systems more dangerous than any evil nation before them.

EDIT: This post has been moderated, also in conjunction with the other post below this in the thread.

Agreed @ the need for Wikileaks. Governments should not be run by PR agencies.

So national security should be comprimised for the sake of knowing.

Absolutely. Anything done by the government or its contractors should be publicly available unless it infringes the privacy of specific individuals (e.g. police witnesses). If it must be kept secret, the timing on release should be on the order of months after the incident, with no redaction and no exceptions to release.

I disagree. There are some things that the public should just not know. especially when it comes to national security. I don't want to know everything,if it could hurt cause american lives. Wikileaks is not the goverment and it does'nt run the war. Why is the founder of wikileaks even holding a press conference, who the hell does he think he is. I'm sorry but I respectfully disagree with you.

Id say democracy isnt really good when you have a goverment hiding crap just for the sake of national security(which really is a term they can throw without having to explain anything whenever they want to), but, its not my goverment, I dont care.
