Video from the Comicon

http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/30603

It's only half screen but looks kinda creppy and the black and white scenes are beautiful, also there's a comic in the making

Nice but horrible recording.  At first i thought they were censoring what was happening to Mickey. As he grunted and moaned...In a sensual manner.I was shocked and i thought Warren went overboard with the new concept.i was relieved later.

I think this will be one of the best Wii games of 2010 (and one of the best 3rd party games overall on Wii) and after the Comic-Con video posted above it went from a most probable buy to a definite buy for me.

I hope it features plenty of original music from Disney movies/cartoons.

I already pre-ordered this baby along with sengoku basara for the Wii (I don't have a PS3 yet as I'm still waiting for an exclusive game on the system that seem interesting to me) at amazon.com.  Man with all these exclusive games coming for all the systems us gamers are gonna go broke!

I am surpised by the negative comments here. If not even VGC is impressed with this game, Epic Mickey will have a hard time selling even a million copies.

Epic Mickey's sales will largely dependant on how well it appeals to both the so called 'hardcore' gamers and the gamers who would traditionally play Mickey Mouse gamers.

However, if this game was given a '12 plus' rating from PEGI it could alienate the Mickey Mouse fanbase and therefore sales could suffer.

The game looks good but im still not sure if ima get it yet

That's the Nintendo fans. Since the day the Wii was launched "core" owners kept praying for good 3rd party support in numerous threads, but when something really promising, fresh and unique like Epic Mickey comes along, many (not all) of them will ignore it any day for upcoming Nintendo games which are on their wishlist (at the moment either Kirby, Donkey Kong or Metroid or a combination of those) and magically keep them from buying non-Nintendo games.

Epic Mickey is not the first game, there are other examples. Yesterday the Anno/Dawn of Discovery game for Wii - one of the few economic/building sims for consoles - was mentioned in another thread and when I called the franchise a huge success on PC and a flop on Wii, people told me that they've never heard of this game, that it was "stealth released" and that the publisher "didn't care" about the game.

IMO only the "casual" gamers can make Epic Mickey's a success, it seems it's already lost to many  "core" gamers before it's even released.

I agree. It's sad.

Too bad about Anno sales on Wii. It's a good series.
