360 > Wii & PS3 WW Combined.

How long will it last?

Awesome HW sales for X360, pretty good for PS3 and horrible for Wii compared to last year. DS doing awesome compared to others but horrible compared to yoy and PSP is PSP.... It is interesting fact though that despite those awesome HW sales for X360 PS3 actually beat it in software sales. This leads to conclusion that most of those sales are rebuys as it was pretty much expected because X360 actually didn't have price drop with Slim. Of course one week is pretty short time frame to make any conclusions but if my memory serves me right PS3 actually got about 30% rose in software sales when Slim released in EU.

Could someone provide some YOY sales ?

Great numbers for the 360...ps3 wii gap gets lower and lower each week it seems..ps3 didn't have any major releases even, should be interesting for the rest of they year

I expected most of the 360s sales to be repurchases....i just never in my wildest dreams thought THAT many would be repurchasing.

But now that i think about it it makes sense, assuming most rebuys are from people who use their console often, they could trade in what is likely an older, louder, hotter, larger model, probably a smaller harddrive, wi fi dongle etc. and get a quiter, cooler, slimmer larger HD and built in wifi.

Without a price cut not getting new buyers isnt a negative thing by any means, it should almost be expected. It doesnt matter how much bang for your buck youre getting or bundled value (Wi-fi, HD) its all about the price.

I dont even want to try to guess what will happen with the Slim Arcade but i expect it to be pretty damn successful now.

PS3 and Wii sooo close. I'm saying it now. PS3 will outsell Wii multiple times in 2011 WW.
